Carbon Footprint Verification implementation - A case study

02 Sep 2008 10:30

BSI Management Systems would like to invite you to attend our 'Carbon Footprint Verification implementation --A case study' webinar at no cost.

The world is heating up and we are contributing to it.  Whilst there is still debate about exactly how much damage we are doing and when this damage will become irreversible, many organisations are waking up to their responsibilities to take action now to minimise their contribution to this problem and are calculating and reporting their carbon footprint.

Despite the emergence of standards such as ISO 14064-1 ?Specification with guidance at the organisation level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals?, there is still concern within the investment community with regard to the integrity and accuracy of the data being reported.

So how do you improve credibility in your carbon footprint and protect and enhance your brand image?

Telefonica O2 UK has chosen to take advantage of BSI?s new service ? Carbon Footprint Verification.  This case study webinar will cover:

  • An introduction to Telefonica O2 UK and the drivers for carbon footprinting
  • How Telefonica O2 UK calculated their carbon footprint
  • The verification process
  • The benefits of verification for Telefonica O2 UK

Who should attend?
Anyone considering calculating and verifying their carbon footprint including:

  • Managing Directors
  • Environmental managers
  • Quality managers
